MORANA IKIC KOMLJENOVIC

is a producer and media expert. She previously worked as the leading creative producer and CEO with Fade In (Croatia). In twenty years of professional filmmaking, production and distribution she produced many films presented worldwide. She directed several experimental and documentary films. Her debut film Naked Soul was screened at the Sundance Film Festival in 2001 as part of the Generation Y program. She is a member of the Croatian Producers’ Association and Croatian Filmmakers Association. She works closely with Taskovski films from London as a producer, but also with MEDIA Desk in Croatia, The Istrian Film Commission and as a decision maker at different film industry events (AND at Busan Film Festival, Nordisk Panorama, Docs Barcelona, IDFA and others). She is head of the “Distribute this!” educational program dedicated to project and audience development and distribution. She founded Little Red Dot in 2018.

 

SASHA JOVANOVICH

is a visual artist based in Amsterdam. Having previously studied applied art and architecture at the University of Belgrade, he graduated from the Amsterdam Gerrit Rietveld Art Academy in 1993. Upon graduation, Sasha was the recipient of the BKVB grant for perspective emerging artists and went on to co-found JAB, an avant-garde funerary art studio. Sasha’s conceptual art was exhibited in the Netherlands, Germany, Serbia and Great Britain. He also worked as a junior art director in What?If advertising agency, created logos for several companies among which is Serena Libri publishing house, drawn storyboards for ad campaigns as a free-lance visualiser (most noted, the “Bank Robbery” ad for Ogilvy & Mather Amsterdam’s spot for Pathé Cinemas) and is the author of graphic novel The Rabbit published in 2019 by Scratch Books.

 

MARCELLA JELIC

is a long time journalist, editor and film critic for a number of leading Croatian newspapers, magazines and Internet portals (Slobodna Dalmacija, Jutarnji list, Tportal, Zarez, Total Film, Hrvatski filmski ljetopis etc).  She was programme director at film channel Klasik TV and was in charge of festival relations at Croatian audiovisual centre.

 

JELENA LENA TERNOVEC

spent high-school years experimenting with photography and working for the local newspaper’s culture section, then studied film and theatre at the University of Bologna’s DAMS (Drama, Art and Music Studies) department. With experience both in independent film and theatre, she took a sharp career turn and joined the UN ICTY in The Hague where she worked on various language-related projects, translating, transcribing and supporting the audiovisual division of the court. An award-winning photographer, she is a member of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists, Rijeka. She currently resides in Amsterdam.
