Morana is a producer and author with over 25 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. Her debut film, Naked Soul, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2001. Recent works include the international co-production The Golden Thread directed by Nishtha Jain (Best International Film at the Mumbai Film Festival, 2024) and the short fiction film Peninsula, screened at the Locarno Film Festival in 2025. She has presented projects at IDFA Forum, WEMW, DocBarcelona, and other festival markets. She mentored within the AND program in Busan.

Having produced some forty documentary films shown worldwide, several short fictions, few animated and experimental films, and a dozen television documentary series, she previously led Fade In—a production company specialized in documentary film—and built an international profile working with London-based Taskovski Films. She founded Little Red Dot to empower film professionals in project development, distribution, and the integration of sustainable practices. She is a co-founder of Filmaktiv and a member of Underfeather, an initiative dedicated to animation.

As an industry expert, she collaborates with Creative Europe MEDIA Desk Croatia, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC), and the Eurimages fund. She is an EAVE expert and serves as the President of the Supervisory Board of the Filmmakers Association of Croatia (HDFD).

An active advocate for sustainability, inclusion, and diversity, Morana is deeply committed to sustainable filmmaking and public policy shaping. She initiated the implementation of green practices into the funding system of the Istria County and authored the Practical Guide to Sustainable Audiovisual Production. A member of the Eurimages Sustainability Working Group, an alumnus of the ALBERT BAFTA (in cooperation with APFI) and GREEN FILM Lab programs, she also holds an international CQI-IRCA certificate as an Internal and Lead Auditor for Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015).

She teaches at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.
